As part of a project titled “Commercialisation of Solar Energy in Urban and Industrial Areas (ComSolar)” in India by GIZ, the Food Sector has been identified as one that will greatly benefit by adopting solar technology. This document outlines the findings from a pilot project that pinpoints relevant solar technologies and their best use in the sector. Findings from the pilot have been detailed out in the report along with way forward for stakeholder in the food sector to use a guideline when adopting solar technology.
