Greentech conducted monitoring in broiler and layer farms to gather the on-site data on energy usage, inside shed temperature, humidity, ventilation rate, etc. and on the cooling, heating and ventilation system. The information was used to develop an energy simulation model which predicted the year-round performance of existing broiler and layer EC sheds. Greentech proposed possible design solutions for energy efficient shed design for Broiler & Layer and assisted in the construction of the prototype Broiler shed.
