The Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project
The Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project was a bilateral cooperation programme between(BEEP) the Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India, and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) of the Swiss Confederation. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) was the Iimplementing agency on behalf of the MoP while the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is the agency on behalf of the FDFA.
It supported the Government of India in the reduction of energy consumption in new commercial, public and residential buildings in India through energy-efficient and thermally comfortable (EETC) design.
The CHF 11 million project ran from 2008 to 2023 during which GKSPL was involved from the very beginning as the main implementing partner in India.
