Since 2009, Greentech has conducted around 50 training programs and has trained more than 4,000 brick kiln owners and technical personnel. Training programs are conducted in the areas of –
- Improved brick firing technologies for owners and supervisors
- Environment and energy monitoring
- Brick worker skill development
The training programs generally consists of theory sessions, field visits and practical sessions. A large number of these training programs have been conducted at Varanasi in collaboration with Prayag Clay Products Pvt. Ltd. Training programs has also been conducted in other states including Bihar, National Capital Region, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura etc., and other countries including Nepal, Rwanda and Bangladesh.
