Zigzag Kiln Performance Assessment (2013) is a comprehensive technical and financial performance assessment of brick firing technologies, led by Greentech Knowledge Solutions (GKSPL), Enzen Global Solutions, Entec AG, and the University of Illinois, with support from the Clean Air Task Force, Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, and Climate Works Foundation, found zigzag kilns to be the superior technology. This report provides the results of energy and emission monitoring conducted in eight zigzag brick kilns as a follow up to the performance assessment.
